Drum Machines

Can anyone give me any advice on the following drum machines? Alesis SR16, Boss Dr-3 Dr. Rythm. How do they sound, are they capable of death metal. Or are there any other drum machines that you find easy to work with with a simple user interface? Let me know.

The Zoom 234 is the best one. Not the most expensive, but the most realistic one. Perfect decaying and right dynamic control. I've had a drum teacher fulled one time. He did not believed me when I told him it was something I programmed on my 234.

i have alesis sr16... i just got it a week ago, but so far all i can say is that its pretty good.
