Does anyone know any that are capable of double bass, blast beats ect. I was going to buy a Dr Rhythm but was informed it was incapable of what I wanted.

You can program drum machines to do whatever you want them to. So yeah, the Dr. Rhythm can do blast beats and double bass.

I hear the DR770 is a great machine. I use a Roland R-70 which you can find pretty easily on ebay.
