Behind the mist.
Hello, I've realized that its going to take a while until I can play drums well enough to record with bands (as I am a guitar/bass player that dabbles in drumming) and I've been thinking that maybe it would be wise to invest in a drum machine... i need something that can go pretty fast, and is able to do blast beats and double bass (these two are essential). I'm thinking in the 100-250 dollar range... so anyone who knows anything about drum machines, let me know.

I've got the DR-770. That's a little more. I think I paid $350 for it. But the DR machines are pretty easy to program. I believe the 670 was not available at the time I bought mine. I probably would have went with that mainly for the velocity sensitive pads. It has less memory than the 770 but that doesn't matter cuz once you have a song mixed you can just delete it if you need the space.
