So I'm going to record a drumkit by the end of the week. More of a rockish stuff. I've never tried the AT4041's before btw...
What do you think?

Kick Drum D6 + Tdrum trigger
Snare Drum I5 top + SM57 bottom + Tdrum trigger
Rack Tom D2 + Tdrum trigger
Floor Tom D4 + Tdrum trigger
OH 2 x AT4041 ... Or 2x Rode NT3
HH / Ride 2x Rode NT3... Or 2x AT4041
Side Room T-bone Rb500 (8 pattern ribbon)
Mid Room T-bone sc140

+

Mono room T-bone mm-1 (omni )
Or
Xtra Kick Drum mic ATM25
Or
Something else? Any idea?

I've another sm57 and another sc140 available along with the mm1 and the atm25.

Sounds good man, a stereo room would be nicer then a mono room i bet, so maybe get an extra ribbon or mm1 :)

How are you liking the mm1?

Well I like the idea of a MS room setup hence the Ribbon plus the sdc.:)
I've tried it at home and I have been impressed.
I can't buy another mic right now but I'll definitely consider grabbing another RB500 in the near future. It's cheap and sound great on guitar cabinets and vocals.
I like the mm1. It sucks as a measurment mic as you probably figured out but it is great as a room mic.

Seems like everything's as it should be :)

One thing I recently found out is SDCs, or at least the oktava mk012 I tried sound great as bottom mics for snare (as well as for micking toms but that's too risky). I put one pointing straight up in the center of the snare and really liked the crisp highs.
