Guitars and Bass are just shitty guide tracks.
Here's the setup I used:

2x Firepod

Kick D6 + tdrum

Snare I5 top, sm57 bottom + tdrum

Rack tom D2 + tdrum

Floor tom D4 + tdrum

OH tbone sc140 (chinese crap)... Recorderman technique.

Stereo Room Rode Nt3

Mono Room tbone MM-1

Hat sm57

I kept processing minimal. Snare and kick are enhanced with samples (about 70% natural).

Sounds great, I second Seizure.'s notion. The drum sounds seem to be there, but a little room sound would really give it that classic sound. Especially on the kick/snare if possible.

@JW009: The snare sample is from the bfd platinum Andy Johns library
@Keith: Tdrums are triggers lincensed by Ddrum. Basically they are identical to the Ddrum pro triggers but with a black housing and a worse soldering job (china again).

Just polish up the sound you have now and it will be great.. this allready sounds much better to me man fits the music much better, gives it more character!

Sounds badass to me (the first file).

Too much room reverb in the second file i guess. Find a good amount of room reverb and it will be badass.
