Punk/Rock mix! (real drums,mesa roadster,...)

Hey!

I recorded a punkrock band yesterday and mixed/mastered it today. So please tell me what do you thing about the mix...

Info on trackign:

Drums (Tama starclassic bubinga)
kick - Audix d6
snare - sm57 (replaced 50% with SSD)
toms - audix d2 and d4
hi-hat - sm7
OH- Oktava 012

Bass - direct into audient asp008 (Musicman Sterling 4strings)

Guitars - Roadster -> Mesa OS box -> sm57 -> Audient asp008 (Gibson Les Paul standard)

Vocals - Sm7 (guys voice )

Everything was recorded with my "portable studio" at their practice place!

Critics please!

maybe a bit too clean for my taste when it comes to punk but this is one good mix, dude! well done escpecially for a rehearsal room record! The only thing that bothers me is the snare. I would blend it less. It sounds too machinelike from time to time (fills...)

besides that: SUPER DUPER AWESOME

Tnx man! .. I would realy love to mix in more of the original snare.... but i miced it only on the top (had no mic for the bottom :\ ) ...and it sounds like f'ing can...

Damn, i love it man. I've always wanted to record one of these bands lol. Just not much luck in my area oh well. Great job!

The mix is a little too bright. The kick is muffled, the vocals with some work could sit better in the mix.

This sounds great. That drum beat in the beginning is fuckin weird? In a good way though!

I grew up on this shit and am glad some people still do it.
