Drum replacement debate

So as an interesting discussion I thought I would pose this question:

I currently have Superior 2.0 with Metal Foundry and I know a lot of guys here use the LSD drums for sound replacement. My question is do you think it would be worth getting a trigger program and the LSD packs even though there is the option to stack drums in Superior? Do you feel that one method produces better sound results than the other? Or would the LSD via the Trigger method be mainly advantagous only in a live drum scenerio?

I really don't have an opinion either way at the moment, and I actually will probably get the LSD packs soon but I thought this would be an interesting discussion.

i use metal foundry for cymbals ans LSD drums for kicks, sanres and sometimes toms.
sure you can stack sounds in superior but only the toontrack stuff. i am using TRIGGER
with the LSD samples to trigger directly from the metal foundry outs, works absolutely great!

cheers
