Drum samples and plugins ... again

Yes, there it is another thread about drum samples and plugins.
At home I've always used Battery from NI to play MIDI drums with samples created in studio or 'stolen' anywhere in the internet. Battery is a good software but it has limitations. I created layered drums and so on, but then it is a shit to program drums with the mouse and change velocities if you know what I mean.
So, I need some plugin to play drums but in which you can add for example 5 snare samples and the plugin itself could do a random playing of those sample, so this way it can sound more humanized.
Is there anything?
If not, any other suggestion to play Midi drums?

Battery can do that if you put the five samples to a "cycle round Robin" group. Check the manual.

rhythm rascal is a drum program that, when you go to mix down, you can select a humanization of volume and also tempo. not really velocity though. it's a pretty amateur drum program. must be why I liked it.

TheDude, I think in Battery 2 there's no chance to do that Batman cycles Robin. Perhaps you meant in Battery 3?
