Drums in the news songs from Twilight... ?

What do you think of the drums in the new songs ?

I feel the drums are less dominant and more "basic" than in the previous albums, less breaks as well, especialy when comparing with Versus the World.

Drums don't always need to be brutal man. If it fits the song and accomplishes the sound that was meant then that's all that can be asked of them. I think it sounds great, every part of it.

Fred usually makes really awesome use of his cymbals, but I haven't really noticed it on this album. Then again, I haven't REALLY listened for it.

I think so, there are lots of parts where you can hear that fred does some background stuff that makes the songs impossible to play every normal person. notworthy

and on a side note, Fred is cabaple of doing wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better and more technical etc..

BUT it does not fit amon amarth style
