DT at Wacken 2003?

Of course you can bring your own drinks, as much and any kind you like - but you can drink them only at the campgrounds and not inside the festival area. Its possible to pour one drink into a Wacken cup and take it inside, but you´ll have to buy the one or another expenisve beer inside...
but hey, as you are form Scandinavia you wouldn´t it consider as expenisve anyways :grin: :)
 
Hahah, probably not. One of my friends lived in Germany, and his stories about how incredibly cheap things were still haunt me.
 
Whoa, count me in!!! If DT is there, I'll be there! :) (Though I was gonna be there anyway...)

Why buy beer inside the festival area as it is much more fun to drink it around the camp, plus the beer is really cheap in the stores... Like 3 (long gone) Finmarks or so. :)

I just talked with one of my friends who is going inter-railing in July. I'm in the I-R group now. :cool: We're going through Sweden, Denmark, Holland, and Germany. He's also a DT fan, and I convinced him to come to Wacken. Looks like there will be a diversion at the end of the journey, with the other people returning to Finland, and us two going to Wacken.

Hope to see lots of you at Wacken, this forum could use it's first meeting.

Yh, the possibility of me being available to travel anywhere at the time of Wacken seems to be less than 10% - and the first prerequisite would be to abandon my graduation-project planned for this summer... :cry:

But, we'll see... perhaps the date-schedules can be changed, after all...

well, after attending to three editions of wacken (1998,99 and 2001) the last two years mainly for Dark Tranquillity, i must accept that I've getting old. I don't feel like going to a tent, get cold and muddy for three days, and for sure not 25 hours of bus to go and 25 to return...
so my chances to be at wacken this year i hope that tend to 0!

Just 5 minutes ago I found a package on my doorstep: the tickets to Wacken have arrived. :) If only the confirmation that DT will perform in W:O:A 2003 would appear on the W:O:A site as well... :(
