Guess who's replacing Iced Earth at Wacken?

didn't Norum leave because he didn't like their newer commercial keyboard driven focus...
a few weeks ago it looked as if he was going to replace Michael Schenker in UFO, a band which is no stranger to strange head case lead guitarists. Schenker has been auctioning off his famous flying Vs on Ebay, and issued a statement that he was relinquishing all claims to the legal rights to the UFO name...so Pete Way and Phil Mogg thought Norum was coming aboard, but apparently that was premature.

It would have been a good move for Norum - he's stuck in an AOR rut. He and Tempest have to regroup Europe and start writing heavy metal songs again, as opposed to arena rock tralalala's.

And if Norum has no interest, I think Kee Marcello should be given another look in because he was one hell of a succesor. I saw Bon Jovi in England in 1989 (supported by Europe, Skid Row, and Vixen) - and I swear, Europe stole the show thanks to Marcello.

He's like Malmsteen with emotion.
