Good shit dave. Thanks ever so much for posting these. Looks like they played good. Usually festivals have a tendency not to have the dry Ice machines and such... seems DT were graced with subtle theatrics. Were all the bands subject to cool light shows, back drops and smoke makers?

Dark Tranquillity were in one of the Marquees which meant it was pretty dark and the stage wasn't too big. The only dry ice I saw was in there and the other Marquee. Every band I saw had a backdrop. However, Iron Maiden being the rich rockstars that they are, could afford to smother the main stage in dry ice! I was particularly impressed with DT's light show. Combined with the dry ice, it made my job much easier to get dramatic shots. Would love to get into concert photography for a living.

how did you get such good pictures? did you have like a photograph pass or something? i was at that gig and i took pictures but they all look sooo bad! i guess my camera is a piece of shit (its a hp photosmart 735) !
