While this is great news for a lot of fans why can't we get some newer bands on this bill that could actually benefit from the exposure? Dream Theater is arguably one of the most visible and poplular prog-metal band but they seem to be afraid of the competition. Sure, touring with Deep purple, ELP and the Dregs is a cool bill but whatever happened to bringing a young fresh band on the road with an established act?

I agree to a point... though I'm not really going to complain about this tour since I love all 3 bands (though Dream Theater and Queensryche have been on decline for some time). But I would like to see these more popular bands bring out great "unknown" bands like Pain of Salvation and give them some exposure.

I think it was really created for the benefit of long time prog fans who have wanted the genre's premier 3 bands to tour together since the late 80s.
My hope is that it's a regular thing, maybe with Rush or Yes added to the line-up. :drool

Agreed with the concept of bringing newer bands instead of trying to induce nostalgic sentiments...although seeing FW play in front of thousands will be something special...

Yeah, only problem with it is,...no show between Orlando, Fl and Baltimore, Md. which is about, what, 1000 miles or so. Especially since they cancelled the Atlanta gig.
