Hi guys, for you opinion if I buy a dual recto, can I have a similar dream theater sound??

exactly but if you have the opertunity/money get one never hurts to have a duel recto sitting around team it up with a 5150/6505 and pow proper tone

You'd be able to get DT's 'Recto' tone, but that's not the one to get, IMO.


If you're buying an amp for the specific purpose of getting a DT tone, snag a MKIV and tweak until it sounds like 'Awake.'

I really like the train of tho...sound, and becouse I have another band and we play some prog stuff....
