Just got home, absolutely knackered. Excellent show, I was really impressed. Just like being 16 again, although being close to the front in among the pits, I quickly realised that I AM 31, and not 16 anymore. Plenty of energy with the band and the crowd. Everyone was on top form, the banter between songs was kept to a minimum. My ears have been asaulted, and I was dripping with sweat, but it was all worth it. Now that I've seen the Among the Living lineup, I'm ready to see them back with John now, although if they decided to continue with Joey, I'd still support them. Joey did say however that to keep a check on future dates, that they might be back in the Summer. Awesome.

Funniest part of the night, was the dude who managed to get on stage and threw himself off after greeting members of the band. A security guard in the pit pursued him, but fell flat on his face. How he expected to stop him while being in the pit, I have no idea.

Also, big hello to PoolePaul. Never managed to meet up, but spoke to on the phone. Glad you enjoyed the gig, maybe if they come over in the Summer you'll be back, and get a chance to meet up then.

Everyone in Glasgow, enjoy the gig tonight, you'll have a blast. And anyone else getting to see them soon, you'll not be disappointed.
 
Oh, and we nearly ran out of petrol on the way home. Didn't pass ONE fucking 24 hour station on the way home, and just about made it. Was running on fumes for the last 15 miles. I put it down to my cousin sending us the wrong way, and we got lost for half an hour. Ah well, its all over now. I only wish we were going to Glasgow now.

That was one of the finest gigs I've ever been to. I saw this line-up back in 89 and must confess that I was a bit sceptical about the whole reunion thing. I'm a big fan of the Bush era but really I can have no complaints about what I saw last night. Starting with Among The Living, everybody was up for it in a way I haven't seen in years. Joey really seemed to be enjoying himself. Even Danny was smiling towards the end of the gig, once he had quit pouting and posing. That gig was seriously something special. Hearing AIR, Lone Justice and Medusa live was incredible. My throat is knackered from singing along, my neck and ribs ache... the sure sign of a great gig.

Joey nailed it. I know others have said his vocals were a little off key, well not last night (ok maybe Deathrider was a teeny bit dodgy but the rest of the gig he was spot on). He was clearly enjoying the whole experience and his enthusiasm was infectious. At one point the whole crowd spontaneously started chanting his name. Danny did a bang up job, it'd just be nice to see him smile a little more often. Frank, as you all know, doesn't give it less that 150% and will never let you down. It was really great to see him back. Charlie and Scott were Charlie and Scott. Nuff said.

So from someone who really was fearing the worst, I've got to say I had a ball. Really, give his band a chance and you will not be disappointed. Glasgow, I envy you, I really wish I could go again tonight.
 
sounds amazing man! cant wait till tonight!!!! have they played one man stands yet on this tour?? im sure i read in an interview that they were going to do it. Hope they unleash it on glasgow followed by lone justice
 
I am feeling extremely bummed at missin the show, still no sign of the baby appearing so probably could have made it after all. It sounds promising that they might be back in the summer but apart from that feelin shitty. Feel free to post any pics, that might cheer me up.
 
yeah that was fucking amazing, i was at the gig last year which was great but fuck....i cant move my arms proper anymore...fuck best gig ever...oh and i met the band at the signing too, i met rob caggiano last year too
 
Sound fucking awesome man!!! Im just 16 so have obviously never seen this lineup but I muuuch prefer it even though i like John Bush also....one concern however.....no armed and dangerous. I MUST HEAR THAT SONG LIVE!!! but still, medusa! so fuck yeah
 
Nothing will top the 1st show in Chicago saturday night...... Andt he rust will come off May 22 at the Los Angeles show and I will be there......
 
man that fukin ruled....was fukin awesome to see Joey going fukin mad....he really seemed to be enjoying it......minor downer was danny "look at me....Im half nekid" spitz......ok hes an awesome player....but come on.....never used to showboat half as much as he did last night......Glasgow.....if u aint at the gig at this moment.....you have missed a fukin killer night out.......shout out to Ulster Mosher.....maybe next time we'll meet up bro....lol
 
you got some great pix there mate.....i took shit loads myself but not many came out....also recorded CIAM, IATL and ITM....audio is ok but vid for IATL & ITM is pretty piss poor....will try and put up for post soon
