I don't know anyone who has been dumb enough to get a DUI... but usually you get a bigass fine and some sort of suspension on your license. But thats canada.

See, I think this is a big problem with countries that actually allow driving after, say, two beers. I do not dispute that many people can be ADEQUATE (not perfect) drivers after 2 beers, but once you've said that 2 beers is acceptable, people's train of thought will go "oh but 4 (6, 8, ...) beers isn't much more, I can drive just fine now"You need to know your limits. 2-3 brews, sure feel free to drive (unless you're a sally who votes for Blood Red Throne and Melechesh over established titans), but anything that seriously inhibits your motor skills. Stay off the road por flavor

Although yeah, I wouldn't mind a zero tolerance policy here. Might cause public transportation to actually be feasible, and I'm totally for that.

it is really sad, but but in the US a lot of people DUI all the time ...

KILL TULLY said:No different in America really, in fact some places are planning on making you put a "Scarlet letter" on your license plate, so everyone knows your a jackass.
awesome.
