I have just watched the Maiden Early Years dvd for the 100th time.It is the type of package us Sxaon hardcore deserve. It would be great to see early concert footage and full tv clips and promos. The chronicle was great but I felt the 2nd disc was a bit of let down(although enjoyable) So my good friends what do you think?

Yeah I agree with you Wilks, the second chronicles disc is good but I was a bit disappointed that a lot of the footage was cut short. I would rather have seen less clips, but the full clips. And not lots of shorts clips and footage.

Yeah we can only imagine some of the video stuff that surely must be archived somewhere, its gotta be enough for a box set of dvd 9s by now!

It would be real cool for Saxon to document their career with the same idea Maiden has with their "History of Iron Maiden" DVD series, time for a "History of Saxon" DVD series. Part 1 could cover their first four albums, Part 2 the days of their 80's commercial peak, Part 3 the nineties albums and a part 4 for the new millenium taking us right up to date. DVD's should include full live shows, promo vids, backstage footage and interviews from each time period. Hey I know this might be unrealistic thinking but its a nice dream!!

they filmed loads of the recent tour, hopefully they'll have that out soon, and have plenty of the king tuts gig cause I'll be in it, was jumpin around like a nutter doon the front so should be on there!!!!

A new Saxon DVD would be very nice...when it contains interviews with Paul Quin, Nibbs, Scarret and Nigel..And that the questions come from the fans ..For Example why does Saxon never play 'To hell and back again' live anymore?, or why did Paul wear those wigs during a certain period in Saxon History? .. I just say what other people think... And more whole concert-shooting like Esbjerg, but not short cuts of concerts-songs, maybe a whole song taken out a concert? maybe something about the fire in Biffs house with pictures etc...:hotjump: (fuck off with that fire:grin: ) and the humor I did very like, more of that please, that kind of humor with that bloke in his wheel chair and in the back ground the tune of wheels of steel...I still have wet trousers of the laughing here. That guy has made it to be on that chronicles DVD, he is part of a master piece of history, he can be proud of that...
