the filming of interviews, live gigs and stuff is done, but vintersorg is responsible for the soundmix and he is very busy so I think this will take some time...
What the other guy told about the DVd is true. Farther than that though, I think the project has been dropped by Napalm & Vintersorg. Since I'm the one in charge of the project and that I didn't receive any news from Napalm Records after the release of Visions, I assume that the project has been dropped. That's really bad... The only step left to do was remixing the audio from the show... which Vintersorg has no time to do.

It's on it's way.... it was delayed due to visions and other stuff... vintersorg may also release the fragments mcd on the website instead of on a cd, so it will be free i guess

The Fragments cd is old vintersorg songs, for example till fjälls who's been reedited to be more like cosmic genesis and visions..
Avataren funkade bara i 1 dag, sen funkade den inte mer, så jag bytte bild, funkade också bara en dag, sen borta..

regga på www.boomspeed.com de funkar bra även om man bara får en mb. men om man bara ska ha lite bilder så är det ju ingen fara.
I hope the DVD will be out soon... I don't think it is such a good idea to remake the older songs with his new sound... they should be left as they are...
Wait as you wish for the DVD... Vintersorg hasn't the time to mix the live sound. I've been to Skelleftea in august 2001 to shoot interviews and other stuff and nothing evolved since then... So unless God himself come as a bearded lady and do the mix...
And by the way... The till fjälls remix doesn't sound like cosmic and visions at all in my humble point of view...
cause my english skills aint that good i was just saying that to give the ppl here some clues on what to expect since i can't explain what they sound like

Well, I would love to see the DVD on the market, but as stated it takes alot of time to mix it, and we also have to add alot of stuff. The sound as it's now is terrible, it's very unprofessional, the filming though is top notch. But when the sound is like this it would become an half-serious product, and I can tell for sure that I'll never releease soemthing again that I'm not 100% satisfied with at the moment of the release(then with a perspective you always becomes unsatisfied)
So we basically have to re-record alot of the things, and right now no budget and time are available, but I'll of course do what I can to make it work out.

What do you mean "re-record"? The music for the live concert footage?
And which half-serious product did you release before then (because it sounds like you did once)?

I think several of the albums I've participated on could have been executed with more acuracy and better arrangements, still "Visions.....and "Empiricism" are two that I'm satisfied with

I'll be leaving the footage on my shelves for the miraculous day it would be needed. It's aproduct I'm really proud of. As mrV states though, the audio as he heard it is far from good since it's a mix for the cameras mics solely for the purpose of putting audio on the images. The show as been recorded on 16 tracks, which I didn't listen too. It shall be of professionnal quality but the sound is raw so it needs a lot of procedures to make it sound like if you fans were there. It's then fully understandable that time and money is needed to put the product to birth.
It is far better than what we did for the Nightwish DVD. I deeply hope that the day Vintersorg's fans can add a DVD to their collection will come.
