i couldn't find much by searching, so let me ask you guys what's your general concensus on Dynaudios these days. I'm especially interested in the BM series, namely the BM5A MKII's. i'm pretty sure i'm going for these because i have a chance to get them for a certain nice price.
the MKII's are supposed to have improved low-end compared to the MK I's, anyone using them? how would these compare to Genelecs in your opinion? i've been looking to buy Genelecs for a couple of years now but people around me keep saying the Dynaudios are really really good, better than Genelecs and i'm starting to sway towards them.
i'll need to do some extensive A/B'ing with genelecs and these, but before i do i wanted to ask if there's some specific no-nos with these. i know the bass port is located in the back of the speaker on these, is that a huge problem? my current Rubicon R5a's have the port in front and i've never had any problems.
