Hey guys,
I've heard some pretty killer recordings people have done using EWSO but I have no idea which of the 4 products I need to get. Can anyone speak to the audible and practical differences between the 4 symphonic orchestra packages available right now? Also, how do any EW users find the built in 'Play' sampler?

Any feedback would be appreciated

i have the silver , gold and percussion

percussion does a pretty awesome job, as well the gold version!

and also try to get the wordbuilder so the orchestra could sing what you write !

Well, Gold beats the crap out of Silver; many more articulations, most are chromatically sampled. Platinum is a matter of opinion, though. I wouldn't say there's any discernable quality difference, but Gold only has far mics for most instruments, whereas platinum has three mic positions for everything. If you're doing a lot of work with orchestral percussion, I'd recommend the Platinum, but otherwise Gold is better value. I'd give silver a miss, though.

Can't you buy silver and then upgrade later? Seems like the right route for you.
