Has anyone done any comparison between these units? I have Edirol FA-66 Firewire Interface which has hi-Z instrument input (1Mohm I think). I'm planning to buy Radial J48 or some other active DI Box but.....
Is it worth that? Am I paying $200 just because it's Radial and (almost) everyone thinks it's best (at least on this forum
)? Do I hear any difference between Edirol hi-Z input, $200 Radial J48 or $50 Samson S-Direct?
According to input impedance ohm's Radial has lowest voltage....
Edirol hi-Z = 1Mohm
Samson S-Direct = 1Mohm
Radial J48 = 220Kohm
