Hi!

I try to do some voice editing, and I would know, if I am doing this in the right way.
So, is this voice track still natural sounding with the good amount of editing (time and loudness editing).

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/68385897/Lyrical edit - Sortie - Stereo Out.mp3

Track info :
Singer => Neumann KMS 105 (or 104) => Saffire 14 => Cubase => no post processing apart the editing (no pitch correction was use of course) => mp3 320.
This track aim to be played in a gig intro with some synth (slow strings, organ and choirs).

Many thanks for your responses!

Cheers

The Doubling is far from perfect, but I'm sure nobody will care about that in a live situation :D
The sound seems to be pretty good!

look into VocAlign, it's a plugin that aligns time, pitch and phase of two signals, so great for blending like what you're doing, and it can be run as a VST so that'll work for you in Cubase. Great voice too, I like what you're going for, cool sound!!

Just a precision that I have omitted : it's not me who is singing, but the female singer of my band. ^^
Yeah, I thinks that vocalign would be great for that but for the moment i have no the budget for this.
And this is, also, a training for me to learn the editing. ;)
