Eff healthy foods: ITT we talk about our guilty pleasures

Braum's malts and ice cream, cheeseburgers, my awesome homemade almond cookies, homemade mint brownies, fried okra, Haribo gummy cherries, sweet potato fries, barbecue in many forms, and lots of other things. :)

Mmm gelato! We have a store here called Central Market which is Whole Foods' identical twin, and they have a huge gelato bar :kickass:

This (despite the silly vegan label, medjool dates are amazing).

Also, That Carolan's Denisa's got looks inviting <3 I could drink that and eat dates all day like a fucking king.

A) that's not a guilty pleasure!! Dates are super healthy! (even though they are loaded with carbs and glucose)

B) you've never had good dates if you didn't have them from Israel/ Egypt where they are originated. Maybe one day I'll send you a box :)

One more thing about dates: a Mediteranean classic: split in half, get rid of the seed inside, place a roasted pecan (and if you really want to live on the edge add a tad of goat cheese on the pecan) close date back together, enjoy!

Trust me. In the volume I eat them they are a guilty pleasure. Also, they grow dates here in California. Third, and finally, with the Carolans in the mix, my liver is sure to get a good pickling. I'll take you up on that box offer though.:hotjump:

If you couldn't handle Brazil, Max, you probably don't have the stamina to get a date in Israel OR Egypt. P

Also, Karen. I've had dates from Egypt, Iraq *and* Israel before. All are tasty. I have no preference, aside from the fact that I prefer larger, darker varieties because they're usually sweeter.
