Greetings everyone! My first post here:)
Recorded this cover today. Would be nice if you check it out.
I did all the vox, gtr, bass programming, drums programming and tracking/mixing/mastering job on this record.
It's also my first experience miking G12-T (i'm Vintage30 addict, but it's interesting experience and i totaly loved G12 on solos).

Initially it was just a demo for my drummer and bass player for working on their parts. But then i loved aranging vocal lines and decided to mix the stuff.

Mix details:
Gtr:Dean Cadillac on riffs and Ibanez Roadstar on solo> ZW overdrive (gain min, tone 13 oclock, vol 12 oclock)> Peavey 5150 lead channel> Randall 4x12 (G12-T in this one, though i'll go back to V30 for riffs)> single sm57 > Set Sound PA-2205m (Russian custom built mic pre:D) > RME Fireface 400
Vox: Oktava MK-105 :)D) > Set Sound PA-2205m> RME Fireface 400
Bass: Orange Tree Samples Corebass Cherry Picked
Drums: Superior2
Host: cubase 4.5 full retail
Plugins used: stillwell, voxengo, t-racks singles, overloud breverb.
I'd be glad if you comment both mix and my performance.
Thanks in advance :)

Nice cover!! I haven't heard this song for a long time! Your voice is good, the guys told you about the guitars, the solo rules, so I would want more body an the snare (maybe boost at 200hz?). It's just personal taste. Welcome here dude!!! Cheers!!!

Thanks, man! Doing my best. We're playing trio live so it's quite a tough job to sing and play guitar parts ad the same time. Especialy when it's about covering Judas Priest that are based on two-guitar riffs:) But we're doing a lot of rearranging and filling the holes with bass overdrive and fx.
