Elegant...and dying

Don't have it/heard it yet but im sure it will kick ass. 'Sombre Romantic' was a piece of art.

I've had it for a few weeks...and well...

It is phenomenal. Completely eclipsing "Somber Romantic" in every facet.

Overall it is a more heavy record. And possibly not as 'out there' and 'artistic' in the sense of the classical influences as what "Somber..." was (still a lot of classical work, though, don't get me wrong). The vocals are a lot more present this time around, and Rowan is in fantastic touch. The 20 minute track 'The Everlasting' is possibly one of the most fulfilling tracks I have ever listened to. So much atmosphere and character surrounding this track, and indeed the entire record.

You'll have to excuse my hastily scribbled comments.

I'll have a review up for it soon-ish, and I hope to have a chat with one of the band at some stage. I'll keep you posted guys.
