Anyone have any experience with this pickup?

Found out my guitar has the quick connect cable (emg hz) so wanted to see what my options were for quick connect and found this? I am not looking really for the EMG 81 sound. Want more of a Duncan Custom or SH4 passive style pu ...but with being able just to use the quick connect cable? And probably another stupid question but does the quick connect cable only support EMG or do other companies support this as well?
