Did anybody buy this? Does it have the music for the keyboard parts as well?

Yeah, I got it for Christmas and got the Scattered Ashes album with it, it has lead, rhythm, and bass guitar tabs and I've learned I Am The Black Wizards rom it, good tab book, I'd recommend it. No keyboard though.

Yeah, I had no idea you skip a string on the main I Am The Black Wizards riff.

Ihsahn did the Tab book himself, so you can't get any more accurate than that, its flawlessly perfect....Heres a quote from the book....

"I found there were definite shortcomings of Emperor tabs on the net, and hence came the idea to do a tab book on Emperor. Having used some of the Emperor material in my lessons already, I decided to do the transcriptions myself, making sure everything was presented correctly".

*All songs on Prometheus are on a 7 string guitar, so you need a 7 string for 2 songs in the book.

It does have a lot of Anthems (my favorite) songs on it... just wish it had Sworn and Decrystallizing Reason. And maybe Al Savtr too.

This is a beautiful thing and I'm tempted to buy it just on principle. The more we support extreme music endeavors like this, the more of them we'll see. On the other hand, if it loses $20,000 for Candlelight (or whoever's pub'g it), we'll never see another one...

True. Imagine if the majority of death metal/black metal legends were releasing the music to their albums... that would be absolutely amazing. As of now the only ones I can think of that have done this at all are Martyr (they have complete tab books on their site), Quo Vadis (have SOME tabs up on their site), and now Emperor.

I think there's a screw-up in the book on the song With Strength I Burn because twice so far and I have only learned about 2:00 of the song there's number of repeat mistakes, you play the opening riff 3 times, not 2.

I haven't had any problems with the music, most parts require 2 guitarist playing at the same time to sound properly, and it comes with a cd of all the songs so each song you can listen to.... and play along with using a metronome which all timings are listed to get precise timings of picking speed etc.... I say its well worth for a measly 20 bills.
