Emperor?

So...what's goin' on with these fellas? Are they together? Have they split up again? Are they recording stuff? The last thing I heard is that they reunited, did a few gigs, then dissapeared. Does anyone really know anything about any plans from the band?

I assume most people here like them, so I'm sure that any info will be well recieved.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them play the occasional festival, or swing through some US cities once in a while, but it seems like there's no way they'll record an album. They shouldn't anyway.

I'd like to believe they're touring for the generation of fans that didn't see them in the past, but the price is probably right.

I prefer Ihsahn to try and do something with emperor rather than recording that adversary style rubbish. I hope he surprises us

^I doubt he will, I bought The Adversary ad regret buying it, too proggy, a couple good songs, not my kid of Metal, and I thought Prometheus was good.

Emperor is/was one of the few metal bands I truly, deeply respect. They had better reunite for the good of the scene... or else

Yeah they are only active when it comes to playing shows now. Sadly they will probably never write any new material.

Sadly? Finally a band has enough sense to stop releasing geriatric carbon copies of their classic material, and stay out of the studio onto the road where they belong. Commendable.

And in here sun go down wery late at summer or it dosn´t go down at all.
