Vancouver, British Columbia has a new offensive in the form of ENCOFFINATE, a death and doom (or doom and death) quartet that painstakingly elaborates their nightmarish and infernal visions into dark and devastating dirges. Unlike most of their peers in this subgenre, Encoffinate's dense aura and somber evocations radiates fury and inner struggles. At times, a clear influence of Celtic Frost becomes evident, like is the case on "Black Skies of Terror". This first offering contains four tracks of utter doom and death, or death and doom.
