Well, here we are again in December. Time certainly seems to be flying by at a rate of knots. I'm sure it is some psychological trick of the mind that as we get older time seems to speed up. Maybe a subconscious awareness that many of us have had more time on this earth than we have remaining. Something to focus the mind.
It's been an interesting year, not least with the reunion of the PQ lineup featuring Alessio, Steve Scott, Andrea, Francesco and myself. Totally unexpected and out of the blue. None of us had even thought of this casually never mind seriously until Marius Danielson invited us to come and play at Warriors of Steel Festival in Norway in May 2026. So we owe Marius a big debt of gratitude.

I spent the summer in and out of hospital, undergoing 4 operations to repair multiple tears in the retina in my left eye. Some interesting experiences there - needle in the eyeball anyone? hahaha! Another sign of the passing years - like an old car needing repairs after the annual MOT.
My father turned 90 back in September and has been in poor health for a few years now. Sadly things are deteriorating now and placing extra pressure on my Mother, so coming up with a plan to help them in 2026 is at the top of my list. I am thankful to have reached the age of 54 and still have my parents as this obviously isn't the case for everyone.
So, as I have done for many years past, I would like to wish you all (and that may be just a few given this is legacy platform now - and I am a legacy user haha) a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all the best for the coming year. Look forward to seeing you in Norway - or maybe elsewhere perhaps?
