Guys, I just got back from the festival and I gotta tell you about one of the biggest concerts happened so far on the festival!! A band from Germany called END OF GREEN played an hour right before we had Amorphis (who were awesome too!!) headlining the day. It was brilliant really!! I don't know if you have ever heard of the band before but they play a kinda music you would never tell about that they are Germans! Imagine the very best side and moments of the career of Type O' Negative, Kyuss and sometimes Him, get two very crazy guys, have one of them playing guitar and sing and the other just to play the guitar, then get three normal persons (two with long hair) and give them instruments. One of the long hairy guys gets the drums, the other gets another guitar and the last one start playing the bass. It is very important that the singer has a very deep voice, deeper than Peter Steele or Ville Valo himself but it is full of darkness, hate, sadness and mystery. Now if you did all these, you could get END OF GREEN. It was hard, now wasn't it? That is why it is so great to see them playing those songs live what I love from their latest CD (Songs for a dying world). If you haven't checked them out yet, I think you all should give them a try. They are wonderful....

(Check out their homepage as well if you are interested - just to get some more info...)

heythanks, Always looking for good bands to get into.
Hope you'll like them!! I can't help listening to their latest release since I got hold of it. Some people say they are making their music for girls. I guess it is just because the singer's voice. He reminds the listener of Peter Steele or Ville Valo I guess for the first. Seeing them at a concert convinced me that he is much better than the above mentioned, he really CAN sing whatever he made on the records!

Whoa!!! I got all their songs (except 2 that didnt work) from their site and I liked em alot! Only Ithink they were just clips so I had to get some from "online" and I got the song Fallen Angel. That was a great song! I want to hear more though before I buy so I may have to wait and d/l some more.

Hey, Vertigo, nice to hear you liked them a lot!! I think the CD is quite cheap though, at least when I bought it, it was like 12 euros or something. And get in touch with them also, they are always very happy to hear the comments!!
