Hey!

Does anyone here tried this one with impulses? I'm asking this cus I'm a bit confused about the line outs of this pre. They have a L+R normal line out that you connect to the power amp and another two that are compensated line outs to use directed to a mixing console? Should I use the normal Line out to use with impulses or the other one?

Thanks,

Cheers ;)

Use normal line out - I have e430 wich is like floor version of e530 and using only this outs to record with impulses.

gladly doing that:
recording chain was:
high output humbucker/les paul --> tss with gain=1, bass and high= 7 and volume/level full --> e530 with lead gain=one o'clock Bass=11 o'clock low mid=4 o'clock hi mid=3 o'clock treble=2 o'clock, contour in, lead volume 3 o'clock, gain hi in, lead in --> tracks were 100%,80%,80%,100 --> impulses all guitarhacks JJ louder sneep edge --> post processing was c4 with andy's settings and band filter at 70 and 12000 --> mastering with ozone 3, just a bit equing and loudness maximizer.
cheers
