Alright, so I've got my ENGL e530 and a Line 6 UX2. How do I set these two up so I can get a good signal chain going through some impulses? Which output do I use? The regular? Frequency compensated? Headphone out (with the poweramp?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a huge noob, so a step by step would be optimal. Cheers!

Regular output into the line input of your UX2. Run that signal through an impulse in your DAW and you're set.

You don't want to use the compensated output, as this is will be an attempt at a cab simulation, and would eliminate the need to use an impulse.

You don't want to use the headphone output, as this will kill you UX2 because it's a powered output and expects to see a load (headphones or speaker cabinet)

Yeah line out-> input of your interface. Then stick on impulses on your interface.
