So im getting the opportunity to try out an ENGL E530 preamp.....But looking at the outputs, im not even sure how to hook it up.

Can some one tell me exactly what output i should use for:
1. Connecting it DI to my profire?
2. Which output to use for using my windsor as a poweramp (effects return on the windsor correct?)

I see there are 2 line outputs....R and L....For a DI i can use 1 right? The both are for a stereo situation right?

^ at the same time? So both outputs have to run at the same time?

You don't have to hook up both of them...doesn't really matter. If you want to record DI run one of the two outputs to the interface, if you want to mic up an amp run one of the outputs to the effects return of your amp head. You can do one, you can do both, doesn't matter.

It has 2 outputs so you can run it in stereo, most rack poweramps are stereo as well.

I know it's kind of obvious but make sure to load an impulse response or use cab sim of some sort or it will sound like poo. But probably you knew that already.
