Engl Savage 60 Tone

Hi
This is a tone test I've made with my Engl Savage 60 and Guitarhack impulses.
Guitar is Schecter C1 with Emg 81.
I fight a lot with this baby to find a good tone because it was ever fizzy a lot.
Now I think this is a good starting point...

Dang, that does sound aggressive, but I dig it!

I'd lower the gain a bit, maybe add some more mids, and stick it in a mix... should be sounding great!

Gain: 6
Lead: 8
Bass: 7
Mid: 9
Treb: 4

I have no more mids

Adjust Treble On at least the Powerball (and probably on all Engl amps), the Treble also affects midrange. I don't remember which way it worked, but in one direction, the treble boosts the midrange even if mids are already maxed.

Uhm..I think Powerball sound different..
This amp is really fizzy and the treble at 12 o'clock (+/-) are ideal...but I'll try!
Savage have an Hi-range suppressor also...I put it at 0: it open a lot the sound if raised but it add more treble and fizzy...
Definitelly not a "plug & play" amp

I have to set absolutely my monitor position......and buy a great pair of monitor
