i like the slight edge of speakeryness on this tone, but i do think it could benefit from another mic thrown up on the cap (or nearly on the cap) for some sizzle and a more direct quality, just to blend in, yknow?

Everything was noon aside from gain one which was full and gain two which was near 75% on the lead boost channel.

infact, just to add to my previous comment i think you'd really be onto something if you blended a mic on the cap with a mic more at the edge (or that sounds like its more at the edge.) Your tones have been taking on a very percussive quality recently, but you're losing a bit of the in your face middy grind because of it. Just blending in a more obviously clearer tone in carefully with the other mic would be like \\\\\\\\m/////////

i would just bring the drums more up front. losing that crack on the snare, more thickness to the drums would sound sick.
