Engl SE 670- EL34's or 6L6's?

Which version sounds better for thrash/death metal? It's hard to tell from the clips on the website.

Well,

I have never tried both side by side but always love them when I plug in. If I had to make an educated guess about the difference it's that the EL34's have a touch more grind to them but either way you can't go wrong because they are made so you can swap for either type of tube. (right now I am using the EL34's).

I have an SE on the way! I chose the 6L6 version after playing Brian Hoffman's.

It has the Red lights inside which I like better also. Like you said, I can always swap the tubes around- I have a brand new set of Mullard EL34 Repro's I could try.
