It was nice seeing Christian Bale play a role as he did in "The Fighter". I was starting to think he was a one-note actor, so The Fighter was refreshing.

I guess I can kind've see what you mean but American Psycho, Empire of the Sun are different roles too. It's funny because after seeing American Psycho, I thought he acted that way in real life. Like whenever he thinks he's better than everyone he acts that way. haha. But I do have respect for him because of this:

He rules. I hated him after the Terminator debacle. Not the freakout, the film itself. As a giant Terminator fan, I was pretty excited about that film, everything I heard inspired hope of a great film. Then it was mediocre.
Eventually, I grew to realize he fucking rules. The Fighter helped me regain my faith in him.

I thought it was good. Not like really really good but good. What more could they have done really? I hope they come out with another to finish off the story. We don't need another Terminator film...but we need a film to finish the story where John Connor sends Kyle Reece back in time.

Well shit, for starters, they laid it out pretty good in the first 2: make a movie with armies of endoskeletons, HK's flying around, laser guns, and a badass scar faced John Connor.
I came up with a storyline on where to take it after T2, they should just give me a call.

Yeah it's been out for a while...I only saw it on Sky a few months ago and was like, "WHY THE FUCK HASN'T THIS MOVIE GOTTEN MORE ATTENTION?!?!?!?!?" It's like the Matrix without all the posturing and melodrama.

I will say this...Empire of the sun is the best performance by a child actor ever. He will blow you away. He was 12 I think when he did it. Plus John Malkovich's character is epic. and it shows a hilarious young Ben stiller cameo (well, a few small scenes).
