Ensiferum - Victory Songs

The album leaked. So... has anyone heard the full album yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Personally I love it. Not as good as old Ensiferum, but it's still Ensiferum, and it's a pretty solid album. If anyone doesn't have it and wants it, message me.

How many listens did you give it before coming to this rash conclusion? More to the point, why the hell did you bother uploading something you despise?

Markus is the only member still in the band that was a part of their debut album - and you wonder why it's not as good? I love this album.

ive listened to it a couple of times.
an I uploaded it to be nice to my friends, and to other people of the boards.
I know Markus is the only member left that was fro the debut album. No need to go thinking Im daft.

its not as memorable as Iron or Ensiferum, but its fun to listen to.

so is Victory songs or Dragonheads any good? I was gonna buy them but I was skeptical of getting it knowing jari isn't on them

I liked them Both. Victory Songs isnt as good as Iron or the debut though, obviously.

Check the bands myspace or website for samples maybe?

Meh, Dragonheads bored me....I think the guitar parts were too simple and there wasn't enough flute sounding keyboards.

but my favorite songs are LAI LAI HEI, Lost in Despair and One More Magic Potion

Yeah, I've listened to victory songs.

I found it pretty monotonous and the new singer at times sounds like a metalcore singer. I'm not a huge fan of him. I still think the self titled album was best (Goblins Dance is one of the coolest songs EVER) and Iron was almost, but not quite as awesome.

Now bring on the new Wintersun album!
