Anyone know anything about this band?

Their song "Hero in a dream" is the greatest thing i've heard this year. Kind of folky like finntroll but 100x better
 
I saw Ensiferum the other night when they were warming up for Children of Bodom. They're material was ok, but I myself like Finntroll more. They did play one of their older songs, which is a bit slower, and that really hit me. Oh, and their version of Metallica's Battery was awesome!

(BTW their basist is fucking crazy! When he was headbanging, his head was hurling like a hurricane.)

Yeah I have heard Hero in a Dream, I planned to get their album sometime but never have. Finntroll are one of my fave bands, they are so trollish :) Have you ever heard the band Moonsorrow? I hear they are supposed to be pretty killer as well!
 
Well the webmaster for The Black League was telling me how good it is, I have heard a couple songs. I guess its Finnish black metal with Viking influences. Its supposed to be "epic" so I think I will pick it up in the future! Its called "Voimasta Ja Ki Aniasta"

Moonsorrow is the best viking/epic heathen metal band ever! They are also from Finland. You could say that Moonsorrow is Viking Metal's Opeth!
They have really long, epic beautiful songs. Their songs never get cheesy, start with their latest album and work yourself backwards.

Well, actually, I just reviewed the new Moonsorrow album
a couple of days ago, and I really _really_ like it! I've been
skipping through some of their songs before, but now I'll
seriously start giving them more attention :eek:)
