I normally don't start threads, and I certainly never post anything pro-Epica (they're just not my thing), but I just saw this article on Blabbermouth and thought, "What a kind gesture." As usual, though, there are some extremely distasteful comments beneath the article. I really wonder why Blabbermouth allows anyone to post comments. Nonetheless, this was a pretty awesome thing of the band to do for a fan.

Stay metal. Never rust.

how any of the Blabbermouth trolls could find anything negative to say about this i'll never know. I won't even look at the comments because it'll make me angry..and obviously, I'm a huge Epica fan!

Wow, that's pretty awesome of them.......Kudos in buckets! :headbang:

Epica as a band, and Simone as a person, seem to have a pretty good reputation for doing kindhearted things.

I still remember the Simone Garment auction, and the charity those proceeds went to.

As though I needed more reason to be psyched to see them in September.

This is actually pretty cool and I think the guy sounds just fine.
He's definately got a better voice than me, plus he can surely give me a run in the songwriting department. Hell, who I am I kidding .. he's got be me beat there as well. Cool of Epica to participate in something like that. They should be commended.
