Eq'ing Question

I use the line 6 pod farm and im looking to get a meaty tone from it, obviously im never going to get the meaty vavle sorta tone out of it but something half decent,

i have a problem i don't really know how to eq guitars to make them sit nicely in the mix.

they always sound...well if im honest they sound stupid haha.

could anybody help me with a picture of a visual eq or anything?
and im quite new to this whole recording game and forums too haha

EQ your guitars to make everything else sound as good as possible. When you play around with the EQ, just actively listen to how everything else sounds and don't listen to the guitars.
