That happened in an interview for Poland's biggest internet portal.

He said they are going to change the setlist drastically and include:
A day of reckoning (well, it was written "dead reckoning" but non-metal sites sometimes make such mistakes)

"Do or die"
"The burning times"
"Dog faced gods"
plus about 5 new songs

Sounds good to me. I'll probably have a heart attack when I hear "A day of reckoning live" and if I manage to survive, "Do or die" will surely finish me

Oh, he also said they've 3 or 4 songs almost ready (one of them is a "sensational" ballad, kinda resembling "Trail of tears")- which we've already heard. And that they're planning to get into studio again early 2010! I'm glady they're already thinking about it instead of resting on their laurels and enjoying the success of "Formation.."

Wait so what do you mean? They already have some new songs recorded besides whats on TFOD? and one of them is a ballad? BTW that would just be sick and surreal to see Alex thrashing on Demonic and Low songs. Thats like, when two worlds collide.

just for your sanity,I hope for you they will play "Apocalyptic City" when you're gonna see them.that song is the awesomeness.

Here's a setlist from a show on last weekend of March (California?). Not sure exactly what show the guy who told me this saw.

Over The Wall
Into The Pit
Apocalyptic City
Practice What You Preach
New Order
Low
Trial Of Tears
Henchmen Ride
The Evil Has Landed
Souls Of Black
The Preacher
DNR
3 Days In Darkness
Alone In The Dark
Disciples Of The Watch

I saw the first night in San Fran. Hell of a show. Alex just grinded away on the riffs from the Low and Demonic records. The new songs absolutely slay live.

Here is an interesting reading on that subject. From 1998 http://www.metal-rules.com/zine/content/view/221/0/

Metal Rules!!
Here's another one I'm sure all the long term Testament fans are curious about....Have you heard Testament's "Low"??? What did you think of James Murphy's playing?? And what about "Demonic" (the new one)...????

Alex:
How can I be diplomatic about this... James is very good at what he does (which is very different from what I do), and Low had a few good ideas and great production. It's a shame we didn't have production like that earlier. However my tastes are so different now I don't really know how to comment on it because it sounds so foreign. Demonic is basically the same, although I found it very hard to take the vocals seriously. I think it should have been done with more of a sense of humor, then I would have really liked it.

Metal Rules!!
So could you imagine yourself playing on either?

Alex:
No.

LOL that's funny. Must have been when he still had no interest in metal. Lucky for us he came back!:headbang:
