Just got this on DVD from a friend of mine, and it rocks! Packed to the gills with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, it tells you everything you'd care to know about the life of The Greatest Drummer Who Ever Lived (tm) and the years he spent with KISS.

Bruce and Bob Kulick, as well as three of the guys from Slaughter all share their memories of Eric, and his family talk about what he was like as a kid. As an added bonus, Carrie Stevens (his last girlfriend) ain't too shabby either ;).

If Gene & Paul had authorised the thing and given their permission to include lots of other stuff from the vaults, it would have been even better. Still, it's a top-class tribute to a very talented man .

God if I had a DVD player I'd get it for sure!! :)

What do Slaughter have to do with Eric?

Ohhhhhh..... Hot In The Shade tour, Slaughter were support hey?

Yup, that's right. The drummer from Cinderella was on there too, talking about some of the jokes Eric used to play backstage.

Were Cinderella the support band on the Crazy Nights tour? That would've been pretty easy to arrange, since Gene discovered 'em :).

He did! Ill find the article when I get home :D

(About Cinderella I mean, not his apparent lack of balls)

Yeah Cinderella were discovered by Bon Jovi and toured supporting them on their first tour. They probably supported Kiss too though, I have no idea hehe.

I know Gene discovered Silent Rage and thought they'd be huge. They never got anywhere hahah. They were the biggest posers ever, not in a "they aren't true metal, death to posers" way but as far as their look. I have an interview with them on a Hard N Heavy video and they talk about how they love to show off their bodies and they keep throwing their hair around and they're all oiled up lol.
