Yea man I have. I agree that his playing on CD is extremely tasteful... I'm talking about this specific show...
and secondly... Vai has a much much much better voice than EJ, Vai has such a good voice he could actually be just a singer/frontman...
but whatever. it is just my opinion after all... just clarifying that EJ's playing did not have this negative effect on me in the past. Trust me tho. he opened for Satriani, and Satriani made him look like an amatuer... honestly, he really did sound like a worse Yngwie with a fusion feel.
