I just went to Best Buy, Tower Records, and FYE today, and I couldn't find Damage Done. Does anyone have better luck finding Damage Done at music stores in the United States?

Tower's music database computer says it'll be out 8/27.

:D My copy just arrived from The End. Listened to it once and haven't noticed any sudden sound dropouts so the cd looks to be ok. Its Tracks 1 and 11 that are supposed to be buggered as I understand it?

Oh yes the music is very
:OMG:

Probably because it wasn't scheduled to come out in the States until August 30th/September 3rd... Most state-siders here (inc. myself) got their's from www.theendrecords.com so I'd do that if I were you. $12 bucks and free shipping ain't a bad deal...

I am very hesitant of buying things online, but it sure beats getting nothing.

Thanks for the advice, I just ordered it at The End Records.

actually I believe it was supposed to come out today, the 20th. though maybe it was delayed a week.

I got mine from The End. listening to it right now :D

I bought my copy from my local record store in Hamilton Ontario, I had to order it. Apparently a friend of mine just wandered into an HMV store in Toronto and they had copies even though that was over a week ago and today is the official release date

If you don't mind my asking, why are you hesitant about ordering things online?

I don't mind you asking.
Here's why, giving out credit card numbers, the long wait, and bad deliveries.

Well, here's what I can say that might at least get you to give it a shot. Giving a credit number online isn't any different than over a phone line, if you think about it. And I can recommend 3 online mailorder companies that are both VERY reasonably priced and lightning fast.

www.theendrecords.com (choose Omega/mailorder) - Everything priced between $10-$13, s/h is INCLUDED within NA, and they've never taken longer than 4-5 days to get me my CDs.
www.redstream.org - AWESOME mailorder based in Philly. Prices range from $10-$16, but again, s/h is included within NA. They seem to get CDs anyplace within 2 days.
www.darksymphonies.org - oddball place w/ TONS of avant garde stuff (Novembers Doom & Rain Fell Within are on their label) and hard-to-find stuff. Best part is ALL CDs are $10 ppd. in the States.

Anyway, at this point I'm rambling, but maybe give them a shot.
