ETID-style band...ETID-style mix.

just finished an ep for a band called the scavenger's daughter. very every time i die-ish. a definite breath of fresh air for me since because i wasn't requested to put in 15 bass drops, cymbal swells or reverse snares. i tried to go for a really warm, analog-sounding mix. let me know what you dudes think!

usa telecaster / reverend jetstream > 100w jcm 900 > orange 4x12 w/ v30 > sm57 > presonus d8 > waves cla 1176 > waves eq (all subtractive i believe)

i hear ya. though if etid wasn't a band, these guys would still sound like this. i don't believe it's a forced sound for them.

you're hearing mostly his real kit. everything is backed with my own samples except for the toms which are blended with slate qik toms.
