European tour - reviews

It would be perfect for me if they added a song from Souls instead of replacing Electric Crown with it. IMO E.C. is one hell of a song (among testament's best) and it's live version be the new, heavy TestAmenT must be a true ass-kicker. BTW, when wast the last time they played E.C. (10 years ago?) or Alone In The Dark(Fillmore?)?

Gävle, Sweden yesterday... What can I say, Testament kicked ass! I'm pretty sure the setlist was the same as the one posted on the board. Only negaive thing was the venue... Very small and VERY hot... I mised most of the support acts (carnal forge + one more) cause I need to get out and get some fresh air... Then again, seeing Testament in a small club is awsome, but some ventilation wouldn't hurt.

Well seeing them in a small venue is quite special indeed.. But I must say the prices at Biebob were way too high.. For an hour of Testament, no support act, people had to pay 18 euros.. A lot of people were complaining about the ticket prices.. But I have the idea that it was more the fault of the promotor than of the band cause next week in Holland the admisson fee is only 12euros..

Istari - how was the sound at Gavle - could u hear the leads clearly?

in Poland tickets (presales) are around 11-12 EUR which is very fair for a top band like TestAmenT

The sound was fairly good... I was mostly standing right infront of Smyth, and his speaker, so I heard it rather good. However the volume seemed to be different from time to time. Sometimes you heard the leadguitar really good and other times hardly at all...
