Evergrey Confirmed for the Iced Earth / Children Of Bodom US Tour

This is great news, I love Iced Earth and already have tickets for the Detroit show, if they don't have to cancel due to Jon's back. I saw Evergrey at PPIV and became a bigger fan after seeing their show. Hopefully COB will put on a great show as well cuz I'm sure IE and EG will. This is gonna be metal.

This is so awesome!! They were really the highlight for me last year at PPIV- Recreation Day was an awesome album.. I am looking forward to the re-releases of their other albums w/ the bonus tracks..

Keep up the Dark Side!!

WOW; that's HUGE! It's not like I wasn't already planning on going to this show anyway, but DAMN! If they want to go ahead and throw Evergrey in to the mix, then it's okay by me.

(Although I hope this doesn't mean that Children of Bodom's set list is going to be cut down to like 30 minutes)

Does anyone know if this tour is now proceeding, or is still on hold for Schaeffer's back surgery? I see a Philly show listed for late April, but I don't know if that is pre or post the tour postponement.

AFAIK they haven't had to postpone any of the US dates yet, its just been the euro tour so far.

Hmm, weird. Latest word we have from the Masquerade here is that Children of Bodom are no longer on the IE tour, but will be touring with Cannibal Corpse, Vile and Hypocrisy instead.

Cool to hear that Evergrey is on the IE tour, since I'd already asked off from work for it. :)

I'll take CoB either way, though.....

any show in the US that announces Evergrey at a show is enough for me and paired with Iced Earth. ahhhhhh....drool
:worship:

Yeah this news kicks ass...i could do without CoB but for IE and Evergrey...ill suffer hehe, ill be at the worchester, mass show
the worcester show is incorporated into the metalfest, so we are gonna have to pay like 35 bucks for a ticket (more than the show would cost otherwise) and deal with a bunch of other annoying bands, or just show up late and get a shitty spot. blargh

FYI- the Cleveland, Ohio show was actually moved UP a week so I don't know how that's going to affect the rest of the US tour.
