Although I question its inclusion, considering it was on the Japanese version of the previous album, Trilogy is still a great composition...and I agree with the earlier comments about the concept of ISOT...I interpret it as being more about a recurring nightmare.

I don't care much for Recreation Day yet... I really thought it was too laid-back in some way. It's a different style than the earlier awesome albums. Maybe it will grow... but for now, I'm actually a bit disappointed, plus the title "Recreation Day" sounds like a follow-up to Shakiras "Laundry Service".

Laid back!?!?!?!? Are you nuts!?!?!?!? "The Great Deceiver" is the fastest, heaviest and most venomous song they've ever done! The rest of the album displays Evergrey's increased focus, technicality, heaviness, lyrical development, melodic sensibilities and musical performance.

Yeah well, not laid-back exactly... what I was trying to say was that it didn't stick like the previous albums. But I'm sure it will become better after a few times round. I believe it is Tom's vocal change that bothers me the most, I liked the earlier vocals better.
